Wood Badge Beads |
I attended Wood Badge practical course NC-261-WE during May and June 1985. I am a proud member of the Bear patrol
At the end of the practical course, I agreed to complete a group of tasks using my new skills. This agreement is referred to as a "ticket". I completed my ticket and was awarded my beads in March of 1986.
There were three parts to my Wood Badge ticket:
Service to others:
Serve on Boy Scout Leader Basic Training staff
Serve on Boy Scout Junior Leader Basic Training staff
Council scouts outside my home troop in Computers or Coin Collecting
Goals
Develop a pattern of youth led Patrol Leaders Council meetings
Help Troop 113 earn the National Camping Award
Supply at least 2 new resources, books, articles, ideas, at each Patrol Leaders Council for six months.
Personal Growth
Interview Troop 113 alumni to increase my personal knowledge of the rich history of Troop 113's 63 years.
Renew my American Red Cross certification for Basic Life Support Course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
Complete the requirements for the Scouter's Training Award
